Ross MacLachlan, Tim Roberts and Gary Barratt will give a performance of ragtime and boogie-woogie in Currie Hall from 12:10pm - 12:55pm Friday November 14, 2008.

The programme will open with a brief introduction to ragtime, the Scott Joplin influence and migrate towards the effect of boogie-woogie on other styles like rock and roll. Selections like Kidd’s Boogie from the 2007 "Not Just Ragtime" CD will be performed.

Guest vocalist Patty Smith will conclude the programme with tunes like "A Good Man is Hard to Find" and "Boogie Woogie Bugle Boy" You don't want to miss this concert!
